Our Story

Forged Through
Adventure

We didn't start a gear company. We started solving problems we encountered on the world's most demanding adventures.

It started with frustration. Standing at 18,000 feet on the approach to Everest Base Camp, I realized that half my pack weight was gear I'd never use—or worse, gear that was heavier than it needed to be.

Back in California, I started asking: what if we designed gear from scratch, with weight as the primary constraint? Not as an afterthought, but as the foundation of every decision.

Where It All Started

Standing at Gorak Shep, the last stop before Everest Base Camp, carrying a pack that felt twice as heavy as it needed to be. That frustration became our mission.

At altitude, every gram multiplies with every step. We learned to question everything.

At altitude, every decision is magnified. The thin air doesn't forgive heavy packs or unreliable gear. We learned that true performance means gear that works without thinking.

Where We've Tested

Every continent, every climate. Our gear is born from real expeditions, not lab simulations.

Our Principles

Three rules that guide everything we make.

01

Weight First

Every design starts with a weight target. If we can't hit it, we don't ship it.

02

No Compromises

Lighter doesn't mean worse. We obsess over materials and engineering.

03

Real Testing

Every product is tested on real expeditions before it reaches you.
