We Built the Gear
We Needed
We didn't start a gear company. We started solving problems we encountered on the world's most demanding adventures.
We're travelers first. We spend half the year on flights, in tents, and in hostels, building the gear we wished we'd packed. Then we share it.
Back in California, we start every design from one constraint: weight. Not trimmed at the end, but the foundation of every decision, which is why we start with the material, not the shape.

Where It All Started
Standing at Gorak Shep, the last stop before Everest Base Camp, carrying a pack that felt twice as heavy as it needed to be. That frustration became our mission.
At altitude, every gram multiplies with every step. We learned to question everything.

Our Principles
Three rules that guide everything we make.
Weight First
Every design starts with a weight target. If we can't hit it, we don't ship it.
Material First
We choose the material before the shape. Carbon fiber, titanium, and UHMWPE reach the same strength with less mass.
Field-Proven
Nothing ships until we've carried it somewhere that punishes gear: Everest, Cotopaxi, Hang Son Doong.
